Im usually on PC and on the same wi-fi, so Im not sure why the connection is timing out.

Steam Install Dota 2

I waited until late last night and was able to install dota 2, but today there was an update and had the same connection issue again.

Seems to me like its an issue on Valves end, but not sure if anyone has suggestions of fixes.

Things Ive tried already: 1) Checking to make sure network is setup correctly (I was able to install at one point last night so network shouldnt be the issue).

Uninstalling and reinstalling Steam.

Had no impact. 3) Going into application support, deleting all program files and then restarting steam to get it to reset.

Note: This process will not affect your currently installed games.

Close Terminal You should see the Library folder available through the Go menu on the menu bar while holding down the option key.

Does anyone have any other suggestions Again, seems like its a problem on valves side since its persisting on multiple machines, but would appreciate any thoughts anyway.

Ive tried literally everything on the support page and other stuff from the internet, nothing fixes it.

If anyone finds a solution please let us know EDIT: Alright, so after changing download regions things seem to be working again, albeit slower.
